 Description of animal fat refining process:
1 degumming: the purpose of degumming is to remove colloidal impurities in crude oil, mainly some proteins, phospholipids and
viscous substances.
At present the main use of hydration degumming.
2 decolorization: the purpose of decolorization is to remove pigment components in the oil, decolorization by adsorption
decolorization method, by adding activated clay to complete, can also add a small amount of activated carbon, they can absorb
pigment and some oil degradation products.
3. Deacidification: the deacidification process is required because the acid value of the animal fat is too high after boiling,which does not meet the hygienic standards for the use of animal fat.The animal oil refining equipment USES the steam distillation physical deacidification process.
Deodorization: deodorization refers to the removal of the sewage mixed with the outside world in the processing process and the
decomposition products such as raw protein, and the removal of aldehydes, ketones, low grade acids, peroxides and other smelly
substances produced by the oxidation rancidity of oil.
The process and the deacidification process are completed in the combined deacidification and deodorization tower.
Process: crude oil → hydration and degluing → washing → drying → dry degluting → decoloring → filtration → deoxidization → heat
exchange → heating → physical deacidification → delay and decoloring → heating → deodorization → heat exchange → cooling → refined
oil.
